A single stem, placed without ceremony. This narrow-necked vase was designed around that specific act — the moment of bringing something in from outside and finding it a place to stand. Carme Balada has given it a form that does not compete: pale, slightly irregular, with a glaze that softens toward the base and a mouth proportioned for one branch, maybe two.

It changes with what you put in it. In autumn, a dried stem of grass. In spring, a single magnolia branch. Left empty, it holds its own — a quiet object that knows how to occupy a surface without crowding it.

Hand-thrown on the wheel and glazed by hand, each piece carries its own particular surface quality. Tone, texture, and the way the glaze settles at the base will vary between firings — part of the work, not incidental to it.

Because every piece is made and glazed by hand, surface colour and texture will vary slightly between firings. What arrives is singular — a record of one specific moment in the kiln.
