Small in scale, complete in presence. This bowl — the first in Carme Balada's ceramic series — establishes the language that runs through her entire body of work: raw stoneware on the outside, a glaze that moves and settles on its own terms, and a form that feels resolved without being rigid.

Wheel-thrown by hand in her studio, it sits comfortably in the palm and asks to be held. The proportions are considered: neither too deep nor too shallow, with a rim that curves inward just enough to hold its contents without crowding them. A morning bowl. A bowl for one.

Because every piece is made and glazed by hand, surface colour and texture will vary slightly between firings. What arrives is singular — a record of one specific moment in the kiln.
