The 14A is the Akari for rooms with height. A tall floor sculpture in hand-pleated washi paper, it fills vertical space with a quality of luminous presence that conventional floor lamps cannot replicate — because it does not cast light so much as become it. The entire surface glows when lit, transforming the object from a sculptural form by day into a source of warm, ambient illumination by night.
At €1,259, it is the most significant piece in our Akari collection — and the one that most completely embodies what Isamu Noguchi intended in 1951.
